Off-Grid Power in South Australia: ZYC Energy Supports Off-Grid Power System at Mount Victor Station with MyEnergy Engineering
ZYC Energy is proud to showcase a successful collaboration with MyEnergy Engineering, delivering a high-performance off-grid power solution at Mount Victor Station, located near Yunta in the remote outback of South Australia. Leveraging the reliable ZYC’s SIMPO 5000, this project demonstrates the power of advanced energy storage in harsh environment.

Meeting the Challenge of Remote Energy Needs
Mount Victor Station, a historic pastoral property, running approximately 32,000 Poll Merino sheep. They had relied heavily on large diesel generators for its power needs. This solution was expensive and required a significant maintenance input. Given the aging infrastructure and the increasing operational costs, the station required a modern, efficient, and self-contained off-grid system that is able to withstand extreme temperatures and remote conditions.

Powered by ZYC’s SIMPO 5000
To meet these needs, MyEnergy Engineering designed a fully containerised off-grid power system, built off-site and engineered specifically for the outback. ZYC Energy’s SIMPO 5000 were chosen for their reliable performance, scalability, and ability to operate efficiently in harsh conditions. With 102.4kWh of ZYC’s SIMPO 5000, ZYC provided the system a reliable and efficient energy storage.

System Specifications
The project involved replacing the station’s aging diesel generators with a modern off-grid system featuring the high-capacity ZYC Energy’s SIMPO 5000, providing a greater energy storage solution. Additional system improvements included:
·  Solar: 56.32 kW JA Solar Panels
·  Inverters: 2 x Victron Multiplus Quattro 48/15000/200-100/100 Inverters
·  MPPT Controllers: 2 x Victron SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200-MC4
·  Monitoring: Victron Ekrano GX
Now, the off grid power system at Mount Victor Station is ready for the demands of remote operation, scalable and able to grow with future’s expansion.
